I actively practice both law and emergency medicine. The main focus of my practice is on medical contract review and representation of providers in front of the Illinois State Medical Board. 


In my free time I lecture and write articles about medicolegal topics.

I’ve been a senior editor at Emergency Physician’s Monthly magazine since 2014 and I was on the editorial board for the ED Legal Letter between 2002 and 2021 when it ceased publication. I’m a member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. I’m also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
