It was my privilege to do a presentation for the first Annual Business Meeting and Education Session of the ACEP Locum Tenens Section.

The title of the lecture is Context, Contract, Conflicts – Tips for a Successful Locum Tenens Practice. Topics include:

  • Context – background about the locum tenens industry and locum tenens practice
  • Contracts – important terms in locum tenens contracts and how those terms may adversely affect locum tenens physicians
  • Conflicts – how locum tenens physicians can minimize the chances of conflicts during a locum tenens assignment and steps a physician can take if conflicts do develop during a locum tenens assignment.

Handouts for this locum tenens presentation can be downloaded from this link.

Please feel free to post questions related to the lecture in the comments below and I will try to answer them.
